A reboot resets the buffer.<\/p>\n<h2>Fix 3: Check HDMI vs Optical Audio<\/h2>\n<p>If you send audio to a soundbar separately, the two paths may take different times. Adjust the soundbar&apos;s own lip-sync delay.<\/p>\n<h2>Fix 4: Only on Recordings<\/h2>\n<p>If live TV is fine but recordings are out of sync, the PVR recording or playback buffer has a bug. A firmware update often fixes it.<\/p>\n<h2>Fix 5: Only on One Channel<\/h2>\n<p>If a single channel is out of sync, the broadcaster has an encoding problem &mdash; you cannot fix it.
