Editing On the Box<\/h2>\n

You can edit bouquets and favourites directly on screen with the remote. It works, but it is slow for big changes.<\/p>\n

Editing Over the Network<\/h2>\n

The faster way:<\/p>\n

  1. Find the receiver's IP address on the network.<\/li>\n
  2. Connect with a file manager over FTP.<\/li>\n
  3. Download the bouquet files from \/etc\/enigma2\/.<\/li>\n
  4. Edit them on your PC.<\/li>\n
  5. Upload them back and restart the GUI.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Use a Bouquet Editor<\/h2>\n

    Free Enigma2 bouquet editor apps let you drag-and-drop channels into folders. This is by far the fastest way to build a channel list you actually like.<\/p>\n

    Back Up First<\/h2>\n

    Before editing, back up the \/etc\/enigma2\/ folder. If you break something, you can restore.<\/p>\n

    Restart the GUI<\/h2>\n

    After uploading new bouquets, restart the Enigma2 GUI (or reboot the box) for the changes to appear.<\/p>\n
